NATO intercepts iranian missile targeting turkey as alliance tensions rise
NATO condemned Iran after a ballistic missile launched from its territory was intercepted before entering Turkish airspace, in what officials described as a serious escalation in the widening regional confrontation. According to Turkey’s defence ministry, the missile was detected after travelling across Iraqi and Syrian airspace.
