U.S. President Donald Trump has delivered a pointed warning to Iran through Truth Social, declaring that the United States would "massively blow up the entirety" of the South Pars gas field, the world's largest natural gas reserve, if Tehran launches further attacks on Qatar's energy infrastructure.
The statement follows an Israeli strike on a section of the shared field, which Trump described as limited and conducted without U.S. involvement or prior knowledge. He stressed that Israel would refrain from additional actions against South Pars unless Iran targets Qatar again, in which case American forces would respond with overwhelming force of a scale Iran has never encountered.
